The Israel Ukraine Platform was established to advance companies’ trade and investment interests in Ukraine’s significant emerging market, advocate for measures to improve conditions for bilateral trade and investment, and generally promote strong, friendly bilateral ties. To fulfill this mission, the Council seeks to:

• Assure that the Israeli business viewpoint is known and given highest consideration in the formulation of Ukraine Government policies towards Israeli;
• Assure that the Israeli and Ukrainian business perspective, including the Israeli business community’s desire to contribute constructively to Ukraine’s vigorous market development, is understood within the Ukrainian public and private sectors;
• Make Israeli business views known to the Government and private sector of Ukraine with respect to policies and legal, regulatory and other matters which bear significantly upon the willingness or ability of Israeli companies to trade with or invest in Ukraine;
• Facilitate direct contacts between its members and senior Ukrainian Government and business leaders which foster the elimination of impediments to trade or investment or which otherwise can materially assist the realization of investment or trade opportunities.

In support of its mission, the Council works closely with the full range of other organizations interested in supporting a growing commercial relationship between the Israel and Ukraine.

The IUP draws its membership from Ukrainian Israeli and international companies, organizations and individuals and this helps to ensure that the broadest spectrum of government, business and society is accessed both within Ukraine and abroad. This provides a unique opportunity to develop an understanding of business, commercial, trade and cultural issues between Ukraine and Israel and to address these issues in the promotion of multilateral relationships.

The Israel Ukraine Platform brings together Israeli companies and individuals wishing to focus on the Ukrainian market, and offers assistance to Ukrainian companies and individuals wishing to establish business, commercial and trade relationships in Israel.

Knowledge and Information: Most foreign companies know very little about doing business in Ukraine. The Platform offers in-depth knowledge of business, commercial, trade and cultural issues in Ukraine and how to establish and develop business successfully in the country. Many Ukrainian companies and individuals are aware of opportunities outside Ukraine but do not know how to access them. The Platform has an extensive range of experience and expertise within its membership which can be used to access business opportunities in Israel.
